I gave away the woodstove and sink that have set unused for several years in my garage. I have in doing, freed up about a 12' x 12' area of corner floor space. I'm now trying to figure how to get the most use out of said space. I'm thinking some kind of rack or double deck storage. I have 8' ceilings. Any great ideas? thanks

These folks have many great bike storage solutions. I own quite a few of their products. I like the hoist for keeping tings up in the air. Also have a freestand. It's awesome too!

I saw something interesting the other day that might suit you. It was a double-decker setup, where if the top deck was free, it would sort of bend down allowing you to wheel your bike straight onto it. Then by using a lever you'd slide the top rack back up, freeing up the spot below. It also locks the front wheel in place so the bike doesn't try to escape.. I searched the web, and I'm pretty sure it was this one.

Pretty heckin' brilliant if you ask me. Shouldn't be too hard to build something like this either. Here's the link to the site, it's in norwegian but a translator plugin will sort that out. Either way, the pictures are in english. https://laudprodukter.no/2parkup-sykkelstativ-i-2-hoyder.html

Looks kinda like the set up they have at Walmart.
Great for storing bikes - I think it's a lousy way to display and sell them though. :p
