Is anyone familiar with http://www.bikecad.ca/ ?
It is an online bicycledesign application.
Here are a few of my unfortunately never build designs to demonstrate what it is capable of:

I'll have to investigate that site. I normally just draw a sketch on paper, down and dirty style.

One of the cool things is that you can experiment with different forks and wheels without actually owning them.
Another is that you can print it on scale..
