I build stuff.
A guy had told me before Christmas that he was bringing me some "junk" bikes, but he got sick and hadn't been able to bring them. I'd totally forgotten about them until today I went home for a late lunch and my wife said he had dropped them off. I looked out in the driveway and beyond her van I could make out a Murray cantilever frame... I was intrigued. Turns out it was a decent haul. Here are some pictures.
7 bikes total, one is actually a scooter, one just a frame and only 1 kids bike.
The Jamis 10 speed cruiser caught my attention with these factory drillium Odyssey brake calipers... never seen anything like these. Are they worth anything?
And the back one:
Nice stem, looks like the top of it use to be anodized black.
The rear rim is an Araya, the front looks the same, but has a different brand name, made in Taiwan.
Cool Sugino crankset.
Not sure what this old women's bike is, missing headbadge:
Here's it's chainring.
The rear coaster is a Mattatuck U.S.A.?
Not sure how salvageable this scooter is:
Murray cruiser with Shimano coaster, forgot to check the date sticker.
The kid's bike is a Star Wars Darth Maul theme, the frame is neat, but this chainring really caught my eye:
The other blue Murray cruiser doesn't have the pointy drops, so it's newer. The last bike not shown really is a Roadmaster mountain bike frame, probably 24" men's nothing special.
If you see anything on here that catches your eye, let me know I need some build off money.
