bikes in old movies

Until I got into these bikes never paid any attention to bikes in the back ground of movies or T.V. shows,I was looking at a show the other night I thinking the Twilight Zone and a dude stole a bike then when he got done just threw it down what was he thinking.Anyone got any pictures post them be pretty cool to see what's out there.Later on guys.

Not a movie ,but I have loved "Gunsmoke" all my life. One older , black & white episode shows a man riding a hi-wheeler down the street in the last few seconds of the show. I'm quite sure that I've seen every episode several times , and have not seen a bike in any other, even in the background.

Looks like it says Hercules on the sprocket.

That's the first thing I noticed, a real Birmingham made Hercules. I also noticed the single speed freewheel hub, I didn't know they had them on old bikes.
