This was part of a bicycle art show that was up at Radial Cafe in Atlanta for the month of April. This show is organized by the SOPO bike coop. They collected over 40 old bike frames and stripped them down and primed them. they found interested artists from all over the city to each paint a bike frame in any way that they wanted. This is what came of mine. two-tone blue paint, black and red graphics. bike has a gloss clearcoat. i like the frame so much, i ended up not selling it, and building it up myself. below are photos of the frame and then of the complete build.

I built her up with the following:
- weinman DP18 deep rims, in white.
- black spokes
- black formula hubs
- michelin pro 2 race tires, in light blue
- truvativ track cranks with 48 tooth ring
- MKS pedals and clips
- 15 tooth dura-ace cog and lock ring
- extra long 3t stem
- chopped mtb bars with oury white grips
- selle san marco ponza saddle

Whoa...man...that's rolling artwork alrighty.

What made you decide to leave the brazed on cable loops and the shifter posts?

Bike looks incredible! :D

thanks!

i left the braze-ons because i thought i would be auctioning this frame off.
i didnt want to limit the buyer.....i ended up not selling it though.

i will definitely remove them on my next fixie project.

I really like the detailing on the paint. You did justice to a cool frame.

thanks a lot everyone. i am happy with how it turned out. it took me 4 hours to mask the lugs and striping. well worth it though.
i want to eventually change out the seat. maybe red or white.

its a fast bike! and really light.

BLINK!
