Hiya Guys and gals.
Thought i would share the latest distraction that is happening down here in Badersbus towers.
I have always liked the boardtracker style and thought i would give one a go. Lots of work left to do , but you get the idea. 5 speed rear derrailer , false tank which will hide batteries for lights etc( and maybe beer HA HA  ).
Cheers Kirk

wow makes me want a welder even more. love the custom fork very cool i gotta get around to doing one of those on one of my bikes. just a question what welder are you guys using and what type of welding is that? sweet bike and a true boardtracker.

my self at home ive got a little lincoln electric mig and an oxy-acetaline torch. the torch is good if youre going to be doing sheet metal work where youre not going to be using filler(lead, bondo, what ever ya wanna call it)the welds are much softer and wont crack very easily when you hammer and dolly them(does cause alot of distortion though...)mig is fast and fairly simple doesnt leave to much distorion and is good if you dont have to metal finish.

that is a great looking start
gonna be building a board tracker myself as soon as i gather all my parts

I found that it burns right thru conduit...any tricks? Oh, it was about 200$ at Harbor Freight..

Nice work. Please post the finished pics. Another Officechair fork?

Thanks for the kind comments Guys.
Yeah Cman , i gotta get rid of em somehow LOL. I still have another 8 left , that means 8 bikes , my missus is gonna kill me  I have done all the welding on this bike with my trusty Clarke 130TE Mig. I use CO2 for the shield gas. Ihave found that i have no probelm with any mild steel material from as thin as 22 guage right up to 10 guage and above at a push.

Cheers Kirk :)

What's you plan for the crank setup? Love to see some rear set pedals for that racer seating position. Not practical but wicked cool!
