Broken Shockmaster spring question

I plan to work with advice from another post about replacing both of my own springs. Any advice on removing the threaded pieces (bushings?) from these old springs?

I remember mine being threaded. There are like four different kinds between years and the switch to being owned by AMC

I forget who is making the repop ones but I tracked it down years ago and remember I could individual parts. I also went to national spring in Dallas to get springs and bushings to make saddles but decided it was easier to just buy used Primus for what I needex

I've been looking at valve springs online. I may have to physically go to an auto parts store to compare.
Perhaps a soak in some rust remover will loosen the bushings?

It wouldn't hurt. I thought no I had to thread mine back onto one of the trusses to thread it out. I swear it had big thread and the spring threaded onto it. I might have a picture of that thing taken apart but I think I only took pictures of repairing the fork stem
