Here's a ratrod lowrider that I did several years ago!

That’s cool! Was thinking the deck would replace the footrest on the moped. Would need to find a flat deck tho.

I think the peddle part is just to get the motor started.

In my teenage years in the early 80ties these Mopeds (or "Töffli" as we would call them back in Switzerland) were extremely popular, especially Sachs and Puch. Every youngster would have wanted one (I was happy already then with my bike) to be part of the cool gang. It was (and obviously still is) also very common to tune them up to speeds sometimes reaching more than 100 km/h).
The peddle part became important on several occasions: the obvious ones as starting it or pealing it to the next gas station when out of gas, but also when going uphill (as I said it's Switzerland and it has hills and mountains!)
I will follow this one closely...!

I found a better looking headlight in my box of lights. This was the only actual motorcycle light with the side mounts that I had.

Should look better than the original for my purposes.

Regrettably, I'm hitting the pause button on this one for now. I'll be focusing my time on the Hoppy in the traditional class.

I'll leave the thread active until the end just in case something unforeseen like the Earth's rotation experiences a significant slowdown between now and July 31.

Muted def looks better on the laptop. Sorry for this but I have to do a brief hijack and ask about this bike you posted in kf's thread. You said it was a client's. Did you build this for him or did he use your tank ad build it himself? It's a real stunner I hadn't seen before.

I like it both ways. I think the 2 tone on the repaint really sets it off.
