btr basic build-up questions

hey guys,

need help for my btr projekt!

what did you think:

- build a btr from an old vintage frame (higher price) and get the problem with crapy or rar parts?

- build a btr from an new cruiser frame (cheaper) and get a problem with parts that did not look vintage enough?

go low budget - use the new bike and parts, and do creative things to make them look old.

i can get my hands on an old villiers 197cc 6e engine, what do you think? is it overpowered for my bike frame based btr projekt?

i dont know if its better to get a smaler engine!?

german laws are hard and if they bust me i get a big bill! they do not care what engine i drive, if they bust they bust me and i got a problem 8)

i´m not sure if the weight and/or the dimensions are to big for a bike frame
