Bullet style front light

thats my old 84' burner, tried being arty with the pic and failed but anyone know where I can pick up the shell of a BIG old front bullet light

like that but bigger? maybe like 10cm diameter

Might be just slightly bigger than what you are thinking though... :mrgreen:

My only advice would be to maybe try a motorbike wreckers or something like that, some older bikes had some really nice smaller lights on them...

Really? You want one that big? My Austin truck originally came from over there, and I know from reading retro cars that there are still plenty of vintage vehicles around in the UK... Just a matter of keeping your eyes open I guess. I could probably find you an old truck light here pretty cheap, but it wont be chrome and freight from Australia would not be cheap... :shock:

Just a suggestion but I suppose you have tried ebay uk? A quick search (old headlight/vintage headlight) brought these up...

cheers for those links - sadly my budget is currently below 0
but my eyes will be peeled i hadnt thought about car lights - i was tryin 2 find bike scrappys which are few an far between
im keepin up with yo build tho - gotta be one of the most crazily botched ive ever seen, love it
