Butler swap meet score

Picked these up @ the bike show at the Butler Pa Days Inn last Sunday

Nice score. Is that second bike a Hawthorne?, never seen one like that before.

I was up there too! Nice finds! That Hawthorne is a nice bike. I bought a Stingray Slik Chick from the same guy just as he was bringing it in for $10!

Nice Hawthorne! Sort of looks like mine. Ive cleaned it up and gave it a greasing and new tires since the picture!

You did great....love that first bike.

If I'm not mistaken....it looks like it has an alloy MTB wheel up front....maybe an ARAYA or a UKAI wheel with a high flanged hub.

Is the rear wheel different on that bike?

the top bike is an early Luxury Liner , I plan on hunting down the rest of the parts to put it back together . The alloy MTB wheel on the front is a nice piece , but it's an orphan , as I have nothing even close to a match .The Hawthorne was bought by a friend of mine who went with me , I kind of wish I had bought it , but I was allready over my budget . He plans to just put on the missing pieces , grease & ride . The Schwinn frame is 24" , but I have a complete girls bike to swap parts , I'll put it together for my kids to ride. Most of the chrome stuff is for a Columbia project thats in the planning stages right now .
