can anyone help me with some info about this bike?

Mainly trying top figure out what year it was manufactured. It's an AMF "roadmaster jet pilot".

I'm thinking early to mid 60's based on the fact that the headlight bezel is plastic.

Any help greatly appreciated....

It has to be '66 or later. There's a '65 ad in "Evolutioon of the Bicycle,Vol 1", and the '65 Jet Pilot has the 'stars' chainring, and a different chainguard. Otherwise, it looks pretty close. There's also 61,2 and 3 ads which show the earlier styled frame with a horizontal cross tube between the frame tubes, and larger tank.-Adam
