I got this 1948 CCM motorbike. Don't know why the call it a motobike but they paint is pretty chippy and stem is frozen solid.

Well snapped a fork and a pedal what you going to do bike had been in a barn that leaked for years.But got it stripped down.
Have replacement fork but may go with a monarch anyways.

Look how every little peice is stamped CCM got a source that has nos parts for it.

I agree that the Flytes are one of the coolest bikes out there. Definitely on my short list.

I was saving the hub and was going to build going to build a clone but the cost would be almost equal. There selling up here for 2000 cnd for a toasty one. Maybe one day.
 
For those who don't know the bike they're talking, this is the CCM Flyte, the Grail for Canadian collectorsView attachment 191689
CCM also has legendary racers. I have parts from one going on here to if they work out. There flyer was legendary racers were winning on stock parts. That's a 41 I have the stem off a 51 hoping to use

The Motobike is just a certain Schwinn style frame they made from about the 20's- 40's... This thing is a COOOL looking frame and a great start for a mild kustom or Ballooner project... RaToN.... Razin...
