I've had a new front fender for my Schwinn and was waiting for a rear with the duckbill but got tired of waiting, so I took the rear fender off my Emory to see how it would look. I pulled the front fender also and added big knobbies and a 3 speed w coaster.

The Emory is ready to cruise the beach and the 53 Schwinn is looking more original.

the schwinn looks fantastic, even better once you get another duck bill fender for the rear.

the emory looks sad.
much cooler before ya striped it of its dignity :(

Hey Barry,

I LOVE the emory! This thing is so sweet... you were absolutely right, it is so terrifically well made, and it has super cool lines...

And don't fret, the rebuild has begun. It should reach it's former glory and then some... looking at some deep dish fenders, original springer, quick bricks... all in due time.

What kind of springer do you have for it? Those ashtabula forks that came with it are sought after.

Well, i still can't leave anything alone. I've got a WF rear rack, Cadet speedo and headlight (almost) and a 1953 Ohio license plate for my Schwinn. Also a good red Schwinn S seat. It's going to be loaded when I'm done, maybe 60 lbs.
