Cast and Blast- Chuckar hunting

Just got back from a great opening weekend of Chuckar (chuckar patridge) hunting. We floated in drift boats down the Main Salmon River up river from Riggins,ID. There were some rapids and lots of flat water. I rowed one of the three boats. Saturday was great day as we saw and shot quite a few birds. Sunday we didn't see any birds because it was fairly windy. Both days we fished and caught a few bass and trout.

I wish I had gotten more pics on Saturday but was too busy rowing and shooting. :mrgreen: The upper stretch is pretty amazing.
