center stands

For a while now I've been looking at BTR and their construction. One thing I have noticed is their center stands. I want one on my bike that swings up and looks cool to match my bike theme. But there is one problem. I don't know how to build or make one. Can some please explain to me a way to build a center stand.

idk .. doubled nuts on the axle and nylon spacers and some sort of hook you squeez in the seat quick release clamp
