Looks pretty basic, especially with non-stock fenders. Around here, I wouldn't pay more than $75-100 for that, depending on how it actually looked in person. But that might just be me...

don"t give him ANY more than $75 - $85 for that bike!

look around a little bit more, and you'll find a WAY better deal out there.
how far are you from the valley? we have a ton of resources in Sacramento that would make $200 well spent.

I'm a Bay Area transplant to the valley.... most people in the bay think they're sitting on gold :?

shop around, you'll find something cool.

Thanks guys ill make an offer for sure. So you think that the fenders aren't stock? What else should I be looking for? I'm in San Jose an would definitely drive up to sac town for a good deal

Well, he states that in the ad - that they're not original. Or at least, that's how I intepreted his abbreviation. Look for general condition - like everything operated properly, if there are loose spokes or a lot of play in the hub bearings, if the crank turns readily, if the frame has any obvious bends or damage. After that, use your best judgement!

Those look to be '63 or later fenders, smaller than the earlier ones, which were also stainless. The chainring is '69 or later, the bars are aftermarket.... Basically an old frame with a mix of parts. Agree on it being a $125 bike, max. -Adam
