I don't know how many people collect them. I have a nice maroon chain guard from a chain driven kids tricycle Colson. No one even looked at it or made an offer. That made me wonder how collectable kids trikes would be.
Thanks for the picture post. Looks good

Great examples., I was just talking to a guy looking for the white seated one., something about the front fender being hard to get and expressing it as a rare model.

I have this Roll Fast trike that I picked up for my grandaughter couple years ago.. Has the incorrect rear wheels. I bought some other rear wheels but when I got them they where the wrong size axle fit.. Still looking for a set that will fit and the rite look to match the front wheel..

By coincidence I came across this after connecting with some relatives on Facebook the other day.

My great uncle and grandfather, 189something...

Bendix., That is an AWESOME photo and its really really cool you have something that far back from your family., especially in your interests sake!
Thanks for sharing that!

I think the oldest thing I have in my family [new thread idea?] is a wallet my grandfather brought from Canada when He and my Grandmother [The Blanchettes] moved to Illinois to open a convenience and gas shop and start a family on the farm they Built in Kankakee, Ill. Its a worn, beaten and loved piece of leather.. but I love it for all it stands for, as I can imagine you do with this photo. It really does express more than a thousand words, to more than one person.

I restored a barn find one and gave it to my daughter when she was 4...

THATS WHO YOUR ICON IS!

[Im a little slower than the heard :/ ]
Thats such a Super restore., even for a smaller scale., the attention to detail is really great,. do you have the before shot of this trike?

Below is the "before". The only thing I replaced was the grips. But don't be too impressed, it's a rattle can job. If you get close to it you can see the poor lines from the masking tape in creating the white stripes on the tires and fender, but she loved it, and that's what's important.

Its a Huge Improvement! Dont sell yourself short., you made that look Child Safe again! I thought the tires were really WhiteWalls! You did a wonderful job, can or not. [On another note., some spectacular things coming out of a can these days! Google Search: "Krylon", "Montana Spray Paint" "MTN spray paint"..etc..etc.. Graffiti art has moved paint into some pretty new, and expensive levels ;)
