I've got boxes full of parts I've been scavenging/collecting, a frame than needs some love from a sawzall/grinder, and a bunch of ideas in my head. CAN'T TIME MOVE ANY FASTER?!!!

It's killing me, every time I go to the garage and see that frame sitting there, waiting to have braze-ons removed and some tubes ground on...

I don't know how much longer I can wait.

I know what you're talking about. I keep having the urge to start work and start taking some photographs and then release them slowly into the build so people wouldn't know that I cheated. Wonder if anyone does that?

Tell me about  I walk into my museum just for the heck of it (it's really my shed) and see tha frame sitting on the ground....I'd start but I need to get my wheels, plus it's cold here   Don't worry, I promise I won't start

I've considered it too. I have to admit to cleaning up some dirty bits, and stripping off parts I don't need for the build to reveal the
"bare bones" of the thing. I promise not to start cutting, assembling or modifying until next Sunday, though. Cross my heart and hope to... well... cross my heart.

My bike is still sitting untouched, it is rideable, but I'm others right now.

I have taken this time to disassemble my junk pile and separate parts and orgainize my bike shop to be ready to accept the job.

My funds are frozen right now, so I'm trying to see what kind of expenditures I will have so I can plan ahead.

Besides my build-off bike, at the same time I will be building a tandem, moving the motor from my Columbia and putting it on my Schwinn, building my SS MTB, and putting my fixed gear on the road.

Hey! I know you. Nice to see you on this board.

BTW, I haven't ridden my IBR bike in a year, but I just got a new battery for it and it should be on the road soon. In the meantime, I've got an RRBBO project to do, also. Piles of parts scattered around, and the frame and fenders sitting in my living room for inspiration.

Also, don't you live somewhere near Payne? He's into road bikes.

I've figured out all the frame regulations by looking at the past entries, it's this one I don't believe people are abiding by:

10. KEEP IT CHEAP...remember...IT'S A RAT ROD!!!!

I guess "cheap" is a relative term, but some people went overboard. :?

So far, I'm keeping it pretty cheap. I did spring for a new wheelset this time, rather than lacing up my own out of old parts like I did last year. Oh yeah, and I picked up a $10 headset last week. Maybe I'll have to go buy a gold chain for this one after all.

wonder how many people have checked their phones multi times to see what the date is. i have two times this week. i am ready to throw down

Have I somehow missed the thread announcing this one? I'd like to finally enter one, but I don't see anything "official" anywhere about it!? :?

Members got an e-mail (unless you opted out of e-mails) about a month back or so. It starts May 1st.

OK, I didn't see the process at last year's RRBBO since I was pretty new to the forum and didn't know what it was all about, though I did get the chance to vote, so I understand that part.

So, out of all the entrants, how are the finalists chosen?

everybody gets three votes (all members do) An RRBO thread will appear like magik probably Sunday morning (in the board index) and you start a build thread in it. Good luck!
