Chopper Bike info needed

Well I picked up a bike on Craigslist and was wondering if anybody knew anything about it. There's a sticker under the headbadge with the initials PWB, but other than that there's no id on it. Does anyone know anything more about this diamond in the rough?

That has to be homegrown. I don't recognize it from any builds or builder that I have seen.

I'll agree with KF, it's probably home built. The weld at the kickstand and the spot welds holding the bearing cups on the headtube make me think so.

None of the welds look computer controlled, which let's me know it's not mass produced.
If it was company built, it would have been in low numbers.

Well, it had potential anyway… Then when I was cleaning up the frame I noticed this along the bottom frame tube.… Have I ever mentioned how much I hate shore bikes?

Is there enough good to cut and replace?

Thats not the only spot, just the biggest, and so much rust came out of the inside that I wouldn't feel safe. Luckily I can salvage the front end, seat, bars and wheels for future projects, and it only cost me $30 to begin with.
