I went and looked at an article on springer fork building. Lots of info on rake and trail and flop and so on, even unto rockers designed with numbers from the Fibonacci sequence (no lie!). Now I'm even more convinced I don't know what I'm doing!

But I'm gonna do it anyway.

Pretty cool site, Thanks for posting

I'm struggling with building a springer right now. I'm winging it, don't know what i'm doing or what order to do it in but it'll get done! Will it work??

Join the club. I'm gonna try and add a dual springer shock set-up like the Atomic Zombie BBO#7 entry has on my B2 bike. Just waiting on the 450lb shocks to be delivered from (surprise) China.

Bugger!!...........that's Aussie for "Dang it".................my LBS has a carton of the Chinese shocks with 450lb springs (they were in a pallet of assorted parts they won at a wholesalers auction). I could have picked up a couple cheap and sent them to you (possibly cheaper from China than the shipping from Australia to the USA though). I got the pic of your front end, but the first email was blank.

How about a springer fork that doesn't use springs?
