Had this idea rollin around in my head and want an opinion. Sure someone here has tried it.

How would a 20in. banana bike look if you replaced the fork with one from a 26in. bike and mounted a 16in. tire up front?

Would this make a simple chopper or a funny looking 20in. bike?

Actually, the Krate used a springer for a 24" bike. Another combo I have seen is a 24" bike w/24" rear wheel and a 26" springer w/20" out front. This actually worked as well.

I remember as a kid, I tacoed the 16" wheel on my Screamer 2.
16" wheels were hard to come by, so I put the 27" fork from my mom's bike on and ran it with a 20" wheel.
It gave teh Screamer a cool stance.

And your mom learned to ride really good wheelies.

The 26 forks i have in mind are from an old English Phillips bike. Headtubes measure 6in. on it and the Murray BUT will the english forks fit before i go to all the trouble to get those rusted forks off the Phillips.??
