Just wondering if my Pre-war girls bike is a Civilian Transport bike used in the early 40's. It is skip tooth and has 26 x 1.25-.375 original style wheels(tires are replacements; rims and black out New Departure front and rear hubs are original) Original seat, bars and pedals It is badged Western Flyer and only has the original paint left on the front section of the frame. Any help in ID would be appreciated. Thanks.

The dogleg crank and sprocket look like Cleveland Welding Company.

That's really an elegant looking bike. First one of these that I remember seeing. Sorry to keep pestering you, but if you post the serial number from underneath the bottom bracket, I might be able pinpoint the year of production.

I saw a male version of that, a CWC on here awhile back, a lightweight bike. I can't remember whose it was.
