just picked this Electra rat Rod up a few days ago off CL,

it was bought, rode around block, then stored in garage till just the other day, he even brought it to me, he bought it December of 2006, bike shop sold it as a 2007, what bums, but my gain

Nice score indeed. I got a 2010 Rat Rod. I wonder why Electra stopped making the old Stream Ride frames?

look at the early frame and the later frames, compare the two frames, you will see, they made the change in 2006

The Electra RS I just picked up has "Streamride" on the frame, but it's the newer slightly extended "Flat-foot" style with the different rear section.

It's a cool bike for sure, I'd never turn one down for the right price, but the upper chain stays should really terminate into higher, level with the upper top tube. To me it just ruins the flow of the bike.
