The Vista sure looks like it has Columbia dropouts and kickstand. I wonder if it's made by Columbia.

got a chance to start to derust some parts, that front rim is bad but solid and straight. broke down and got a gallon of evaporust. will see!!

some of the mechanical parts cleaned, all the bearings and races were in great shape surprisingly for the pedals being so very worn down
seat post cleaned up nice. The head badge was not to my liking. Taped it up, painted, and carefully cleaned the paint off the letters. tedious !!
you can get it at autozone, or harbor freight. probably a lot of other places. about $20 a gallon
so your Vista was the first one I saw since then I have seen another and had a ladies 10 speed given to me! lol looks cool!!!
well when i pulled the front rim out it was still in one piece!!! hooray!! new rim strip and white wall tire, greased it up and looks presentable at least.
found a nice black wall slick that was wider than all the new stuff so i just painted the White wall on it! rear rim was trued and the chrome on it is actually good.
chrome on the fork and sprocket are in fair condition
