Coaster Brakes.

I some how lost the little piece that hold onto the coaster brake arm so the bike stops.

I can't seem to find what they are called or where they are sold.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

It's easy enough to make one. Any piece of metal that you can bend and drill a hole through can work. Use an old spoon, bend it, drill the hole for the bolt and you're done.

Yep, just make one. Piece of old license plate works great too. Gives a nice vintage look too. :mrgreen:

you could use a zip tie for a quick fix

If indeed you are referring to a brake strap and don't want to make one.

I would just use plumber's tape. It's already got the holes drilled in it.

Any good LBS should have a drawer full of them.

They,re flat when new,so ya gotta bend it to fit.

I wonder if I could carve a clamp on bracket for this out of wood? Think it'd hold up?

Depends on how good you are, carving hard wood with a "Pig Sticker".
