Just in case you've missed this elsewhere...
The rest of May is a busy one for the Coasters. Especially Saturday the 22nd. We are slated to appear and participate in several events that weekend and might be spreading ourselves a little thin. Even though you may not be able to attend all of these events, please participate in as many as you can. Here's what's going on...
Saturday, May 22nd
9:00am - whenever. Displaying our bikes and promoting the club and events at the Old Town Farmers Market just like we've done in the past. This is part of the Old Town Farmers Market's recognition of May as Bike Month. Bring your bike down, park it with the others and hang out at the market for a while.
1:00pm-4:00pm. Displaying our bikes and promoting the club and events at the Credit Union of America, 711 W Douglas. This is part of the I Bike Douglas event. In addition to your bike(s) you may want to bring a lawn chair, drink, sunscreen etc... We can take turns sitting with the bikes so we can also run around the Delano District.
6:00pm - whenever. Special Saturday Pub Pedal beginning at the Shamrock Lounge (1724 W Douglas) and ending at Lucky's (1217 E Douglas). This is part of the I Bike Douglas event.
Sunday, May 23rd
2:00pm - whenever. Ride Round' Town. This event is being sponsored in part by the Coasters. Details here.
Thursday, May 27th
Tandem Night IV
Our 4th Tandem Night at the Pub Pedal. Thursday May 27th. Usual place and time (Shamrock Lounge 7:00PMish) Ride a tandem if you have one. If you don't have one, borrow one, make one! Lets try and break our record of 13!
