If you snowboard or ski you'd work with the same principals. If you're moving faster than traffic you shouldn't need to look back.

Thus slower moving city traffic is probably less frightening than smaller sub-urban roads. Surely more fun

I do snowboard, but prefer backcountry. The resorts have too much traffic
