Connecting a sissy bar to a non-banana bike

Need to find/make a clamp to attach a sissy bar directly to my rear axle. Anyone know where I can get something that will work, or an easy way to make clamps? Something like normal sissy clamps, but with larger holes for the axle.

Check your local auto parts house. They should have some brackets for brake lines or something.

Thanks, I'll try that. Tried Home Depot, no luck there with plumbing or electrical clamps.
