Snapped a few new shots of my 'tall guy' set ups around the parklands I ride through most days:

Great quality pics.

And holy crankshafts just the body of the d800 cost enough to cover almost 9 months rent for me. And here I thought I paid a lot for my gf's Nikon camera (only 20mp I think but its been a while since I've looked)

The comfort conversion continues.

I fitted some really bright led light bars. Hurt to look directly at kind-of bright. They are more about high visibility, but the glow from them makes night riding on the cycleways viable too. I add some spots on the handlebars for serious night riding, but the USB rechargeable units are good for general use - the charge lasts for a few hours on high beam - longer on flashing.

I didn't want to water blast them with the wheel spray off the back tyre so I found these resin guards on ebay.

They worked out pretty well. Needed a bit of trimming (the flared end for the front sprocket didn't work and I bobbed the front slightly) - and some creativity with the mounting hardware to fit around the balloon tyres, but after a bit of fiddling the system works well and they didn't even need painting (except the stays).

All working within the 'small air road bike' plan. I've got a lay back seat post ordered and then a paint job to finish.

The Electra is slowly turning into a 'monster truck lowrider' but I have a better seat option on the way.

Out and about. Really enjoying riding both of them and they both work really well.

The comfort conversion has got a bit porky for what I was initially after - small air stuff - but that gives me an excuse to buy that bare bones Jube hard tail I now covet...greatly.

But as is - it's a good versatile bike that will work if the wet season ever arrives and is very comfortable. I swap the saddles depending on the ride.

The cruiser makes me happy - for reasons I don't have to explain on this site. I was sooo tempted to lay down the coin for a nice stick shifter - but it's too impractical as I'm mostly wrangling the dog on this bike. Be way cool though.

The dog likes either.

With the addition of the Kos Kruiser to the fleet it's changed the way I use the MTB somewhat. I now have an up hill, off-road section in the daily MTB ride with the dawg so I put the knobbies off the BMX on it after I fitted the Hookworms to the white one.

I quite like the way it's given it a Scrambler look
