It's a perfectly good looking bike, but I don't think you could replicate it for $500.00- I could be wrong.

I see some nice parts on it and I am in the process of doing a "Budget Build" which is no longer a budget build. It adds up quick.

Why only 7? Wouldn't you do at least 10?

You build a website only to sell 7?

My Firefox browser let the web page in fine.

It's a great looking bike. It's the thoughtful combination of parts that makes it look so nice, but any of us here could throw that bike together. I could not do it for $500 I'm confident of that, maybe if I took a year to scrape the parts together and trolled for them on Ebay....

These Felt frames/bikes have already showed up on local CL, they don't have the resale value of the Felt tank bikes. You can get 80% of the bike for less than $200 easy. I'm at a bit of an advantage as I have the fork already.

I wouldn't rely on Firefox alone, none of the browsers from what I've seen provide much if any protection. Google's Chrome seems to warn the most, but I don't trust Google so much either. If you install a "hosts " file to deflect known adware/malware/virus sites, you see how much the Google analytics site gets referenced as they basically spy on you thru searches.

And the answer to the question everyone wants to know....who makes those tires?

Could it be that once in a while bike companies partner up with someone to do this for publicity. I can see someone like us here wanting this bike, but balking at the price, and then, with a little online research, ending up getting the frame or base bike and, voila!, project coolbike, with a personalized twist.

I suspect Brooks and Schwalbe are behind all this co-branding.
