Today my neighbor was cleaning out his garage and I caught him putting this woman's huffy 3 speed on the front lawn with a "Free Bike" sign taped to the handlebars, of corse I flagged him down and took it off his hands, pretty decent bike for free! It's got the shimano 3 speed internal gear freewheeling hub in back, rear brake is frozen, flat back tire, and the shifter is broken where the cable goes into it, but for FREE......it looks real nice......

Got to love these HUGE reflectors!

I told him anything bike related he didn't want bring it on over and throw it in my yard. I went for a quick ride and came home to this! It's an exact match to my old one! (but in WAY better condition)

It's like that at my old house, i'd come home and sometimes there was a pile of bikes or bike related stuff waiting for me lol I love cool Neighbors.

I had a bike like that with the frozen back brake and all, i just took the cable off and mounted in the vice then sprayed PB Blaster down in the housing then started pulling and pushing the housing it got unfrozen in about 10 minutes worked just fine. I think it sold for like 30 bucks

yeah I've already started with the lube, the big thing is is when they put the cable on it they put it with the open side going up so rainwater gets down in it and stays right there in the cable and rusts it solid. Got it to move a little bit so far.

Remove the cable and housing from the bike and beat it against a tree, the ground, a junk bike. Go to town with it. It should help free it up.

well I got the rear cable off but no luck so i replaced it with another, replaced the tube, rides great. I gave it to my mother so she has something to ride.
