Cruiser Road Bike

Has anybody on here ever turned a Cruiser style bike into a road bike? I have a 54 24" Schwinn Wasp, that I want to turn into a road bike. I've got a Schwinn Continental 26" that I want to steal the parts from. What you think? Pics?

I'm doing it now! I'm changing the wheels from cruiser 26in to 650a, it will have cream tyres and the higher bb height will help with the fixed/singlespeed hub and i'm putting narrower cruiser bars on.
