on my roth reaper i am going to use an older marzzochi jt t double crown fork. it has v brake bosses and i want them gone. it looks like it would be easy enough to cut them off and grind the lowers down smooth. anyone ever do this it seems like the casting back there is solid and not hollow.

Hacksaw them off

File/sand them down smooth.

If there is still a hole...use JB Weld or Bondo to fill it in.

For someone with a buildhistory like yours, this shouldn't be a problem. ;-)
Good luck.

well i know on some early forks not sure if it was marzzochi but some used the boss to hold the fork together. oh well i only got 50 bucks in the fork so i will roll the dice. they are driving me nuts.
