CWC help needed

Have this CWC frame I'm trying to date. Serial number shows C72050

Serial puts it at late 37-mid 38? We're there more letters between 43 and 45? Or in 47 did they do a run or C serial numbers before going to the CW at the end? My frame does have the prewar no rib seat clamp and prewar fender brace but no ears on the rear dropout.

I show series 2 in 1944 as a C serial number.

The frame is the same as my early 47 was, also a series 2, Coppertooth.

Thanks that makes this my oldest known frame by 6 years. My 3 oldest all being CWC frames.
