Cycle Truck score

Just got home from picking this up. I think it might be a war time cycletruck, it has a black ND rear hub and black front hub, bars and sprocket show no signs of chrome. The cool thing is that this was a one owner bike, it was used at Archer & Smith Inc in Lexington, Ky as a delivery bike, you can still make out the lettering on the sign. The son acquired it around 30 years ago and let it sit in a barn until now. It looks like everything is original and untouched, tires and grips are done for, but I think it's a good restore candidate.

Sweet! That's an awesome score. I'd say put on some tires and grips and keep it as is.

The tires are 26x2.125 rear and 20x2.125 front. I'd like to restore it, but my VW needs to sell, so right now the car and bike are for sale.

Well shoot, I put it on ebay for $500 buy it now, it sold in 10 minutes! I had about $90 in it including gas money. :lol:

I kinda feel bad for selling it. It was the original owner's son who I bought it from, he lived a few blocks from the original grocery store. Oh well, I've learned to put my heart aside from flipping bicycles nowadays.

Why feel bad..The son didn't want it..(what a fool..family history down the drain) :shock: Make money when ya can good you... :wink:
I would have never let it get out of my Family's hands..even if I didn't have anything to do with bicycles.. :?

Im currently kind of working on my road master Cycle Truck.I havent seen them go for under a grand.Especially complete like that.
