Almost too rusty for me to bring home, almost but not quite....

The wheels actually turn but the cranks and headset are frozen solid.

At least the badge is there.

Pretty sweet repair job

This bike may serve as a pattern someday

interresting idea, I'm not too familiar with Whizzer set ups and if there would be enough room in the frame for one. There are some interresting little clips on th rear spokes though so you might be onto something.

The "tank" plate has a hole in it from a 22, now that's rat rod!

I havent done any measuring yet but i wonder if I found a 24" schwinn if i could basically cut the front end off this bike and graft on a "new" rear end.
I thought the Cycletrucks were a 26"/20" combo.

KZ, that would be too cruel to cut up that bike, even by my standards :D .

Rear facing drop outs and chain adjusters would be nice though....

You know without tires it looks 24" but like i said, i haven't really looked this bike over too closely yet.

I'll take a closer photo of the clips on the rear wheel, maybe someone will recoginse them as Whizzer parts or mystery parts.

Good luck with that one Walker, it's quite a find. A little bit rusty even by Connecticut standards, but hey, how often does anyone find a Cycletruck?

The headbadge and front stand are really nice pieces. The bike looks like it was pretty complete when it was abandoned (buried? lol) 40 years ago...

I'd be almost certain someone did a motor install to that bike. The cuts are exactly in the right places to clear a drive belt. Not sure how the rest was attached but I'm going to guess you will be able to find bolt holes, cuts, clamp marks, etc on the frame that will tell the rest of the story.

If you need anything for that sandblasted, let me know...
