Yeah, we are good here. Thankfully they were smart when they built these newer neighborhoods and designed in some nice drainage systems and run off areas. It's usually the older side of town that has a bunch of problems.
We have had to jump in our closet each evening for the past two days when the tornado sirens have gone off. Thankfully the rotations never ended up touching the ground where we are.
My dad is down near Georgetown, just north of Austin. They had 14" in 24 hours. And of course anytime it floods the low water crossings you have the knuckle-heads that drive aroung the barriers and get swept away.
