DATE A WOMAN'S MONARCH NOW W/PIC!

a friend of mine just boght a womans monarch bicycle. it had a tag on it that said it was a 1904 model year. it has wooden wheels and the lion headbadge. it is a skiptooth chain drive, not a drive shaft. haven't seen the bike yet, but the serial number is 135449. anyone out there have any info on these? i will try to post a pic later. any value ideas also? he paid $40 bucks, stold it i know!!!!

If it's actually spelled "Monarch", it's a turn of the century bike. They had nothing to do with the later Monark co. ~Adam

here are a few pics. seen this bike in person tonight, pretty impressive! rear tire is gone, and the front is shot. solid wood wheels, the links in the chain are solid, cork grips. check out the badge!

a canadian quarter. always get those and can never use those.

it is rough and a girls so thatll bring the price down some but.........my guess is depending on the person about $250-$400 (its also a good thing people are starting to buy more girls bikes otherwise idve said 100-200)
