This guy's article on making a home bike repair stand has been making the rounds. I built one over break (even though I got a Park PCS-12 for xmas) I figured two or three stands/workstations are never a bad thing. All of the new materials cost me about $20 at Lowes. Lots of potential for modification to meet your needs. I'm rambling - check it out, totally worth it especially if you are making due without a stand now.

The rest of the blog is a good one too, even for the a-typical cyclist. 8)

Both nice stands. I think I would like the hanging repair stand near my work bench in the garage and the floor stand in my cellar near the slider. Thanks for posting this guys.
