Here is an idea I stole for my pedicab trailer. The tube slides over the seat post and locks down with the bolts.

Here it is finished and hitched to the bike. Kinda hard to see the hitch, but you get the Idea.

Hillbilly version...

the hitch is made from a hardware store hook, an air coupler, a plumbing fitting, and a couple pieces of metal bent and welded, pretty crude but works well.

I was wondering how they connected the bikes in the first picture. Maybe they welded connectors on the bike in the front.

I assume the fork of the rear bike is just bolted to the rear axle of the front bike.

I noticed a lot of bikes have a threaded hole on the frame near the back wheel. Its like a rounded nut welded to the frame. I have three bikes that have this. Maybe you can connect the forks of another bike to bolts in the holes like that shown in the picture in the first post.
