Doing a Friend a favor..!

I was Winterizing a Hot tub this morning for a Friend .
A good guy to know he owns a Flatbed car carrier ..haha So I was winterizing it as a Favor which I guess he thought I was going to charge him..We started talking I asked him if he ever comes across old 10 speeds..He says he will be right back as I finish the spa he comes out with this..10 speed..Take it towards some of my bill..he says..I tell him I wasn't going to charge you anyway.
Just tow me if I need it..Then he hooks me up with a Heater for my garage..I will plumb it in next week..Just add a Zone.. Back to working in a Tee shirt..LOL

I need to fix the b/b it has some play the bike he said was an Uncles..I do see they kind of hold some value..

Nice find, I had a Le Tour Touring that was slightly different, think I got $150 out of it.

I think some where around 1984 to 88 it has a bike license that says 1988 but I think it was a few years old at that point..
May be not..?

Old road bikes are the fastest way of making good money, I hardly ever bother with road bikes because I hate lots of cables. I do work on them when I wanna get a bike shiped in, they help pay the +350$ thats just shipping lol. That one you got looks fairly nice.

very cool. i looked forever for a horizontal dropout road frame with cantilever mounts. i could never find one.
thats the selling point if you get rid of it

I dont see any advantage with the Cantilever mounts....Why..?

Canti mount brakes are more powerful as far as stopping force, and horizontal dropouts are nice for chain adjustment. The fixie crowd would love the frame because of those two features.

I understand the horizontal drops but never thought the brakes were that great.. :lol:
