dont know what made me just go out in the garage and do it, but i decided to make these wheels work today. and after only afew minutes and a small cut on my hand, it spins perfect! heck, i even got an axle on the front wheel to.

yeah its fixed and those are wheelchair wheels. i decided to keep the bigger rear sprocket since i will have to pedal all the time. :roll:
 
Hey, glad you got those to work.
I still have some concerns about the bad mojo from using wheelchair wheels, however.
Try rubbing a rabbit's foot on the handlebars, just in case. If you can't find a rabbit's foot, look in the local yellow pages for a shaman, or a gypsy. :wink:

well i think itll be easier with pictures (so ill take some) but i pretty much pressed the coaster hub sprocket mount into the hole where the bearings usually go. then pressed the other side of the "nut" and twisted them together. so it is like it is pedaling all the time. as for tires the solid ones are in good condition, buuuuut i happen to know that 26x1 3/8 tires fit. there is a lip so all ill have to do it drill a stem hole
