Don't get Pissed ..I need to cut a dyno frame . Help !!

I have a Dyno Deuce and I know a lot of people will not like this but I love this bike and I want to mount a Sachs tank . and to do that I have to remove the 2 tubes after weld and infront of seat post that attach to front down tube . It seems like it will be strong enough because a lot of bikes don't even have that support . What do you guys think ??
I might be able to bend them in also . I need about 1/4 '' on each side .

Is the tank because you are motorizing it? For a 1/4 inch I'd be modifying the tank with a hammer and a block of wood. Assuming it is metal.

Hey . Well it's 1/4 per side . I'm worried bout doin that cuz it's a old tank not the best made , a lot of seams .
Also it's already bin coated on the in side of it .
Believe me I wish I didn't have to do it but I really want to use this tank (sachs moped tank ) for the build. I think the frame is sturdy enough without those pieces .Ok I Hope the frame is sturdy enough ...

Hey DJ Bill so what makes you think that? I looked at the girls model and the seat stays end at the seat tube . Also most bikes dont even have those extra center bars . I will be reinforcing the frame with welding it before the seat tube . I relies a lot of Dyno lovers will hate me doin this but I think it will work

Sadly they are made in Taiwan. And why change a great frame. The best thing about a deuce is the paint!

the only dyno cruisers that were made in the usa were the prototypes. but that doesn't make yours any less cool. i would think some one on here would trade you a nice frame that you need for that dyno frame. they are getting harder and more expensive to replace.

IMHO every bike frame was engineered for weight and strength. Comparing the design of your frame to another brand and style may not be a wise decision. It's your bike and you should do what-ever you want with it.

Go for it there are still plenty of dyno frames out here in California
only the tanks are the hard thing to find
but you could always go with the later kustom kruiser frame or kulana brand frame
they are the same as the dyno
