i remember one by me , was located in virginia beach va, near a major intersection and u could see the movie when u went by on the interstate. , but was actually never old enough to go to one . its condos now , still rememeber the exact location.

We actually still have two up and running drive in movie theaters in my area.
The Rubidoux drive in in Riverside, CA.
The VanBuren drive in also in Riverside, CA.
They both serve as swap meets on the weekends which is cool too.

I still remember one that I went to when I was a kid, I know there's still one that operates in Indiana but I can't for the life of me remember exactly where it is.

We have one operating in the Dayton area, and one on my way to college, but I don't think it is open for movies anymore. I did find an old handout/brochure from a Drive-In movie theater in mom's attic dated 1955. Cool piece of history.
