My latest project work in progress.
Not sure what the body is but it is on a 1960 VW chassis.
1600 engine.
Post pictures if you have one.If anyone knows what the body is let me know.

I used to have one just like it. Never did figure out who made the body. There were quite a few Manx copies out there. Yours looks like it's in pretty good shape.

The original ones were "Meyers Manx" for your searching pleasure. I don't know how to tell original from later copies.

does it have a soft top? Or are all those snaps just for a storage top or something?

I got to bee-bop around in one of these last year during my trip to cali. Met my girlfriend's mom and boyfriend... They must've really liked me since I got to drive the one on the right. I love how these things run and drive. They have tons more power than you think, too.

Desert running is actually a lot of fun... Wish I could afford one of my own. I'd be over to silver lakes sand dunes at least once a month!
