Picked this spray bombed Dyno Deuce for cheap after someone answered my "Trade your old bikes for my stuff" ad in the CL barter section. It had been left behind by the previous owner when he moved a couple of years ago.
I should be able to sell the huge basket for more than I paid for the bike. The basket is so huge it almost looks like a freaking cycle truck. The tires still held air when I pumped them up.

Serial is MT80610662 Haven't looked up how to date this yet.
EDIT: Looks like this is a 1998?

Removed the basket and scrubbed it up a little bit.

I tried to decipher the serial numbers awhile back. I think you're right it's a 98. There was discussion on whether the first 2 numbers were the year or just the first number is the last number of the year. I think it's the latter. I had 4 Dynos that matched up that way.

Funny you should reply on that. It was your post on the purple Dyno that I based my guess on.

Nice bike, was it originally a Red deuce or a Black deuce; anyone know which came first or later. MT80610662 might be June 1998? Besides the pedals, it looks like this one has the classic style (glide or deluxe) chain guard; maybe they invented the more utilitarian style later. Was the Deuce model one of those with a rear 24" rim with 3" tires. Must be an older model using the goldfish pond style kickstand!

I think this one was originally a black Deuce. This had 26" wheels front and back (which I sold).
