e-mail notifications of conversations

I used to get an e-mail notification whenever I received any conversation update. Not anymore. I checked my settings and I have a "check" in the setting under 'Contact Details' that says "Email notifications for new conversations, replies to existing conversations, and being added to an existing conversation."

Any idea why I stopped getting those e-mails?
