The payment did go through with PayPal to the sellers account...eBay sent me a notice to let them know when my money has been returned to my PayPal account. It's a inconvenience because my funds are tied up until my money is returned. Hopefully this is a learning experience for the seller and they don't donut again. The seller is lucky I'm a nice person.....this could get ugly!Same thing happened to a welder I got! A-hole just straight up cancelled the transaction last second. Luckily if you go through your paypal account you can just END that crap right there. The moment I saw him CLOSE it and return it only to relist it minutes latter. His account didn't last long after he tried that again for the third time.
Seriously if you got paypal just go into your account, Summary it shoud list your payments and you can just stop it from your end. IF it hasn't posted. If it has GET in contact with EBAY and PAYPAL and file a report on this. They do not take this crap lightly.
Yep....as I said....a pain in the a**Happened to me too. Made a " best offer " on a Dyno at 20 % below " Buy It Now " price, and it was accepted the instant I placed it. I paid right then on paypal. Nothing showed from seller for a few days so I contacted eBay . Rep said give seller 3 days to post ship notice. Still nothing. Asked seller for bike and she said that she did not know that she did not have the bike offered for sale, and to call her phone. e Bay no help.Told rep to read that, and rep says I still have to wait 3 weeks from date of sale to open a claim. This runaround goes on after opening claim. In the end the money was put back in Paypal.
