Ebay Sellers,...

Anyone else having problems lately with ebay sellers taking forever to get anything shipped to you? I've been buying and selling on there for about 7 years now and it just seems to be getting worse. Even a couple of this site's sponsors/members (Not gonna name any) but everything I have ordered in the past 3 to 4 weeks has taken at least 4 or 5 days to get in the mail headed my way. Its frustrating for me because someone advertises 1 day with recieving cleared payment and it takes them 4, thats just not how I conduct business, I put 3 days after recieved payment on all my sales but I always, without exception so far, ship the very next day. I only put 3 days on there so I would have something to fall back on in case of a family emergency or something. You would think with the economy the way it's currently headed you would have some folks trying to win over there customers? Just seems like no one cares anymore. Ok, rant over. :roll:

good rant but I am with ya there.... some sellers only ship one day a week(but dont always tell you) and if your payment
does not get there before they ship that week you have to wait/ I got scammed on a paypal deal once also I just dont
use ebay or paypal. Not feeling too good about UPS these days. They trashed 2 grand of stereo gear that I shipped out
of san diego and the claim is not going as promised ok that my rant

I bought a college textbook on eBay weeks before the first day of class. A week after purchasing the book, I was skeptical and asked the seller if he shipped it out yet. Nope!!! I finally got it the day before class!!!

I'm pretty sick of the notes that say "if your not going to leave five star feedback, don't leave any feedback", it totally rubs me the wrong way.

Ummmm isn't that the whole point of leaving feedback? If he didn't EARN 5 stars he shouldn't get 5 stars.

Its actually kinda funny that of all the things I have ordered this past month the one who cared the most was the seller who I bought a brake cable from for like 3.99 shipped, he sent me a personal message saying how much they really appreciated my business and it really mattered to them my experience buying from them, If you have any questions, please feel free to let us know, as we are trying our best to improve our buyer's experiences. Your kind suggestion is precious to us. They also shipped the cable the very next morning before lunch with tracking info. It's to bad the sellers I buy large expensive purchases from don't care this much. :?

Yeah but the bigger the seller the bigger their head gets. The little guys still care. I do however know a guy on there that is a pretty big seller but still has excellent customer service and a dedicated attitude. I used to order bicycle engine kits from him. BGF or "boy go fast"
